To avoid extra risk on filers to separately report the 1099-NEC form by January 31, and other payments by February 28 (electronic filing by March 31). Use Form 1099-NEC to report nonemployee compensation and file by February 1, 2021, with the IRS during the 2020-2021 tax year.
