Please note that there has not been official finalization of Oklahoma’s state filing requirements. In previous years, Oklahoma required the direct reporting of oil and gas royalties, however, it’s possible that they will allow these royalties to be reported through the Combined Federal State Filing Program (CFSC). Oklahoma 1099-MISC State Filing Requirement Scenarios
#1 - No oil or gas royalties and payments did not exceed the federal threshold.
#2 - No oil or gas royalties and payments exceeded the federal threshold.
- Combined Federal State Filing Program (CFSFP)
- February 28, 2021
With the CFSFP, your federal eFile will be forwarded to the state with no additional action required on your behalf. Your forms will be flagged based on Oklahoma’s participation in this program.
#3 - There were oil or gas royalties paid, and/or state taxes were withheld, and/or payments exceeded the federal thresholds.
